Full time position - $50-$60K depending on experience.
Starting as a Casual for the first three months.
Your job will be to work within the warehousing team, ensuring that stock is picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will be taking a lead in picking, packing, loading, and unloading consignments on and off transportation.
Position Description:
Picker, packer, and forklift operator at a warehouse. You are responsible for picking and packing the day’s orders as they are allocated on the racking, as well as ensuring that orders are picked accurately, packed, and ready for collection/dispatch on time. At times, you will need to work responsibly to maintain a clean warehouse and loading dock at all times. You also must display good teamwork, a friendly, cooperative attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Picking and packing orders quickly, safely, and accurately according to the written instructions provided on the docket.
Working with others in the warehousing team to ensure that all staff members complete their work as required and fill in whenever assistance is required.
Packing pallets of products properly and safely.
A full warehouse stock count twice a year.
Unloading and loading freight.
Following warehouse safety policies and properly wearing personal protective equipment and clothing where necessary.
Complying with any directions given by management.
Requirements:
A valid forklift operator licence.
A passion for performance in productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
Previous warehousing experience.
A demonstrated positive and cooperative work attitude.
An ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Language: Chinese/Vietnamese
