WHAT WE ARE SEEKING FROM YOU
That have some ability / experience within a manufacturing environment or at least experience in a hardworking environment and a prepared to get in and give anything a go;
Like working with machinery and have got some basic knowledge level on how to trouble shoot mechanical problems – have worked on cars for example;
Need to speak some English to be able to communicate within a team; if had some basic computer skills or ability to learn; a forklift license would also be great or ability to get one (can get after you start the job, not compulsory, but it’s a plus)
WHAT YOU ARE GETTING FROM JAMES HARDIE
Further on job training to someone that has the ability to learn our process and machinery to one day become a team leader on the line in the future. To be a team leader they will need to be confident and be able to communicate / lead people in the future;
2 day shifts & 2 night shifts per week (12 hours/shift, 38 hours/week) on a 8 weeks rotation roster, which mean you will plenty of time for yourself.
These positions will be training positions for semi-skilled positions with the aim of becoming 2IC operators – it is a fast tracked career for someone who wants to be more than just an operator on the line. It really is a great opportunity for the right person.
